The Global TransGendeRing was launched on 28 June 1996 and within 48 hours already had a baker's dozen of sites linked in. TGRing is a group of more than 200 websites focusing on all aspects of the Transgender experience. It is based on the WebRing founded by Sage Weil and is maintained by Laura <redacted>.
A Sister Site went online recently. Called the TG Support Ring managed by Coral Sage, it aims to provide support for the TG Community, including their SOs, Spouses and-or families. Look for the link down below, and check it out!!!

The Global TransGendeRing is intended to provide a consolidated source of information, support, activism and just plain fun . It is not a "Queer" ring, it is not a "Lesbian" ring and it is not a "gay male" ring, although each of these may be facets of one's experience as a transgendered person. It is THE TransGendeRing. Sites from all points on the globe are joining, including Australia, Scotland, Italy and Germany. We expect many more.
